I wan't them to build the Amarok and Polo in Chattanooga for the US Market and keep building the Golf in Wolfsburg and importing it from the fatherland.

Current North Amrican Golfs aren't built in Wolfsburg, IIRC, they're built in Mexico.

No, it's because you didn't wear pants to the interview.
That only flies on Fridays, I'm afraid.

True story: My dad and I took a trip to Europe (Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, England/Wales) in summer '12 and rented a Polo on the not-England part. It was an absolutely fantastic car. My dad and I both have been in love with it since. Had a Vauxhall Astra in England, which comparatively was awful. Well, it was awful in general, but even moreso after the Polo.

I kid, I kid.
If you really want to work there, keep trying. I didn't get the first job I applied for (or the second, or even the third).

Are you assuming a Jew because I'm circumcised? That's messed up man.

Oh, I see now.
They'd probably make those in Mexico because it's cheaper, and also a lot of the countries in Central and South America like the Amarok.

But I've applied 8 times. Got one interview, then another rejection letter after that. It's up to 5 rejection letter now.

I am admittedly biased, but don't let that cloud your judgement. The A7 Golf is a fantastic car. Before you disregard it for its Mexican origins, drive one.

the rabbit was built in mexico, did VW not do that in the states?, sell the new golf as the golf and the old one as the rabbit. They even did the same thing for the jetta with the city jetta here in canada anyway

I'm sure they are. They look very nice. I guess it would have to depend on what that leads to for the consumer though. Obviously it's a money thing. Will that be transferred onto customers through price or value? If not, I'll be a bit upset.

Just keep applying. As long as you're qualified, people like persistence.
